Fantastic Fungi

Like most things in nature, I’m intrigued by mushrooms.

There are a lot of different species with unique characteristics. So many are still unstudied and even undiscovered. The mushrooms that have been researched provide tons of benefits for us and our planet.

I watched an interesting documentary on Netflix, a few months ago, called Fantastic Fungi. It shares amazing videos and information on Fungi and their role on earth.

Check out Reishi, Lions Mane, Cordyceps, Chaga, Turkey Tail, Maitake and Shiitake Nootropic Mushroom Complex and Om Mushroom Powder for easy ways to get the benefits of mushrooms

    1. I haven’t either, I think it’s a puffball, but I’m not entirely sure. It was probably edible, but I didn’t cut it open to find out, although maybe I should have 🤔

  1. Very cool shots of both individual specimens and those large colonies! I love the big puff-ball one but don’t know what it really is! Recently, I purchased the book “Mushrooming Without Fear” by Alexander Schwab. It is an easy to follow guide for beginners on collecting edible mushrooms. So many of them are not edible and indeed are poisonous, so this guide is helping me a lot! Thanks for joining in the fun!

  2. I am fascinated by mushrooms too. I love how they come in such different shapes and sizes. I used to hate eating mushrooms when growing up and now I just can’t seem to get enough of them. Someone else I know recently mentioned Fantastic Fungi. I guess this seems like a pretty good sign that I should add to my list of things to watch on Netflix!
