Tie-dyed Daisies

Exploring nature and doing experiments are fun ways to keep kids occupied over summer break. This activity is a bit of both! ๐Ÿ™‚

We started off by searching the yard for some daisies

We saw a cute little inchworm on one of them

We cut the stem on a slant right before we put it in water. Then we added about 3 drops of blue food coloring to the water.

After one hour

after 1 hour
after 19 hours
